Winemaking Details
Crafted from the 2019 Vintage the fruit for this wine was machine harvested in February 2019. It was then fermented in stainless steel tanks, with regular hand plunging. It then underwent malolactic fermentation and maturation in French oak barriques for 16 months and the finished wine was bottled in June 2020.
Tasting Notes
This outstanding Hunter Valley Shiraz is deep red in colour and has lifted ripe plum, red berry fruit and liquorice characters. The fruit driven palate has a dry, ripe tannin finish and will compliment any good hearty meal.
Cellaring Potential
Long Term - will continue to develop complexity and aged characteristcs over the next 10 years.
