Stomp! 2022 Chardonnay
A contemporary style of Chardonnay with fruit at the forefront and beautifully balanced oak. We love the citrus/stone fruit characters & nutty, complex finish. In winter we enjoy it fireside with creamy pasta dishes, & in summer on the verandah, watching the kangaroos hop by, with an ooozy, creamy brie.

Tasting Notes
This young Chardonnay has fresh, enticing citrus and stone fruit characters followed by a nutty, complex finish. With age it will develop more creaminess, butter and caramel characteristics.

Cellaring Potential
Short term - approximately 6 - 8 years
Food
Although often people from the ABC (anything but chardonnay) community don't like to admit it, with good reason Chardonnay is Australia's most popular wine. One of our richer varieties, this medium bodied wine is an ideal accompaniment to pork, chicken, seafood, creamy pasta dishes or with a soft creamy cheese and your best friend. It's weight makes it the ideal white for the colder months & is the white enjoyed by those that prefer a red. If you haven't tried an aged version, pop this in the cellar & forget about it for six years to see what the fuss is about.
