This Sparkling was born out of our love for Verdelho and Michael's inquisitive nature - wondering if it could be crafted into a Sparkling. Can it ever!
Each year it's harvested in January, in the cool of the night, to ensure it's maximum crisp, fruit characters. It's then fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel, using an aromatic yeast and this is followed with a second fermentation under pressure to create the elegant sparkling finish.
Sparkling Verdelho is a rare find, offering upfront tropical fruit and fresh ripe pear notes with a lingering tangy, citrus minerality on the finish.
It's the perfect sparkling to celebrate life - Sunday afternoon on the deck with your cheese plate, fruit plate or perhaps with some fresh seafood.
