Crafted from the renowned 2017 Vintage the fruit for this wine was machine harvested in February 2017. It was then fermented in stainless steel tanks, with regular hand plunging. It then underwent malolactic fermentation and maturation in French oak barriques for 18 months and the finished wine was bottled in November 2018.
This outstanding Hunter Valley Shiraz is deep red in colour and has lifted red berry fruits, spice and cinnamon characters. The fruit driven palate has a fine tannin finish and will compliment any good hearty meal.
Long Term - will continue to develop complexity and aged characteristcs over the next 10 years
